Gully Cleaning
There are 48,000 gullies in DCSDC area. 40,704 were cleaned in 2024/25 (85%) to assist in controlling surface water and maintain roads in a safe and passable condition.

Section Office staff regularly inspect the local network for actionable defects in accordance with the Road Maintenance Guidelines. These guidelines classify the local roads according to traffic volume and establish corresponding deadlines for the repair of any defects identified. are
