Driver & Vehicle Agency (DVA) is an executive agency of the Department for Infrastructure which aims to deliver improved road safety and better regulation of the transport sector. Responsibilities include driver licensing, vehicle and driver testing, compliance and roadside enforcement.
Safe and Sustainable Travel Division
Safe and Sustainable Travel Division aims to promote improved road safety and deliver better regulation of the transport sector. The Division is responsible for coordinating the implementation of the Northern Ireland Road Safety Strategy. In addition, the Division has a role in promoting the use of alternative and sustainable modes of transport such as: walking, cycling, public transport and car sharing.
