Wipers and Washers
This inspection applies to all vehicles except those:
• with an opening windscreen,
• with some other means of providing the driver with an adequate view, or
• unbodied tricycles and quadricycles fitted with a motorcycle style windshield.
Method of Inspection
Wipers and Washers
- Operate the washers and the wipers and note the swept area of the windscreen.
- Examine the condition, security and effectiveness of the wiper blades and their contact with the windscreen.
- Check the function of the windscreen washers.
