    DfI Roads recognises the importance of community information events in the development of major road schemes and holds exhibitions at key stages to inform and to facilitate community involvement in its decision making process.

    Community information events

    February 2005

    A two day community information event was held on 15 and 16 February 2005 in Toome House, Toomebridge. Representatives from DfI Roads and their consultants were present to answer questions and to provide assistance to members of the general public. Questionnaires, made available to the public as part of a consultation brochure, gave the local community and businesses an opportunity to express their views on the proposal.

    June 2005

    A two day exhibition was held on 15 and 16 June 2005 in Toome House, Toomebridge. Representatives from Dfi Roads and their consultants were present to answer questions and to provide assistance to members of the general public.     A two day exhibition was held on 28 and 29 March 2007 in O’Neill Arms Hotel, Toomebridge. Representatives from DfI Roads and their consultants were present to answer questions and to provide assistance to members of the general public.
