A £60,000 resurfacing scheme on the Derrylin Road / Stragowna Road, Derrylin will commence on Monday 5 November.
The scheme will deliver significant improvements to both the structural integrity and surface of a 0.25 kilometre stretch of the road.
This scheme will require the Derrylin Road to be closed from 8.00 am to 6.00 pm from Monday to Friday for the duration of works.
A diversion route will be signed for southbound traffic via Inishmore Road, Derryharney Road, Droles Road, Bunnahesco Road, Gola Road, Lisnagole Road, Main St., Lisnaskea, and Newbridge Road.
A diversion will also be signed for Northbound traffic at Derrylin via Newbridge Road, Main St. Lisnaskea, Lisnagole Road onto Enniskillen via A4 Belfast Road.
Access for emergency vehicles and residents will be maintained at all times. Whilst the Department has carefully planned these works and associated traffic management arrangements in order to minimise any inconvenience to the public, motorists should expect some delays and allow additional time when planning any journeys.
Work is expected to be completed by 9 November, however this will be dependent on favourable weather conditions and on the progress of the scheme.
