Public Inquiry - Annaghmore Road / Bellshill Road Junction, Castledawson

Under the provisions of The Local Government Act (Northern Ireland) 1972 and The Roads (Northern Ireland) Order 1993 the Department proposes to acquire lands in the North Western Key Transport Corridor.

Inquiry details

The Department hereby gives notice that, under the provisions of the Roads (Northern Ireland) Order 1993, it has appointed Mrs E. Brady as inspector and Mr J. A. Robb as assistant inspector to hold an inquiry into the department’s proposal to make an order under Article 113 of the said Order and Schedule 6 to the Local Government Act (Northern Ireland) 1972 for the purpose of acquiring the land to construct a junction to connect Annaghmore Road and Bellshill Road at Castledawson to the proposed A6 Toome to Castledawson Dual Carriageway.

The Inquiry was held in Christ Church Parish Hall on 29 September 2015 and continued on such other days as determined by the inspector appointed to conduct the proceedings.
