A resurfacing scheme at Lisnafin Park, Strabane is due to commence on Monday 14 August 2023.
The works include resurfacing of 1013 metres of carriageway along the main distributor road within this development.
To help ensure the safety of those using the road and to facilitate the works it will be necessary to operate road closures in short sections from 8.00 am to 6.00 pm from Monday 14 August to Friday 25 August.
As this main distributor road runs in a loop around Lisnafin Park, access for property owners and deliveries will be accommodated from one side of the works. The road will be open during the evenings, overnight and at the weekends.
The Department has carefully planned these roadworks and associated traffic management arrangements in order to minimize inconvenience to the public. Road users are advised to allow extra time for their journey and to follow the alternative routes which will be clearly signed on the approaches to the closure.
Completion of the work is subject to favourable weather conditions, however, the Department will keep the public informed of any change. All work will be carried out in line with current public health and health and safety advice, with safe systems of working in place for staff and contractors.
