A £80,000 carriageway resurfacing scheme on the B3 Legananny Road, Loughbrickland is due to commence on Monday 20 November 2017.

    Raking whilst resurfacing a footway

The scheme, which is expected to be completed by Friday 1 December, will deliver significant improvements to the structural integrity of the road.

A road closure is necessary during the duration of the works. It will be in effect daily from 8.00 am to 6.00 pm to minimise traffic disruption. Local access will be maintained at all times. Traffic will be diverted via the A1, Commercial Road Banbridge, Scarva Road, Glenloughan Road and Main Street, Scarva.

In order to help ensure the safety of road users and road workers the public is asked to comply with all temporary traffic restrictions and to drive with care when travelling through, or in the vicinity, of the works.

The Department has programmed the works operations and traffic management arrangements to minimise any inconvenience, however, drivers should expect some delays and are advised to leave additional time when travelling in the area.

The above work is subject to favourable weather conditions and the Department will keep the public informed of any change.
