Date published: 14 November 2018

Killyman, Dungannon is to benefit from two road resurfacing schemes totalling £150,000.

Traffic movement during resurfacing work

The works on Trewmount Road and Far Circular Road will greatly improve the strength and surface quality of this busy road and address ongoing maintenance issues.

Preliminary works at Trewmount Road, in the vicinity of the Old Creamery, are due to commence week commencing 19 November 2018. A full road closure will then come into effect between the hours of 8.00 am and 6.00 pm from Monday 26 November until Saturday 1 December while resurfacing is carried out.

Resurfacing on Far Circular Road will commence on 10 December and a full road closure will be in operation between the hours of 8.00 am and 6.00 pm until Saturday 15 December.

During the road closures traffic will be diverted and diversionary routes will be clearly signed. Local access will be maintained for homes and businesses throughout both closures.

The works and traffic management arrangements have been carefully programmed to minimise any inconvenience to the public. However some delays may be expected and additional time should be allowed when planning any journeys.

The above planned closures are subject to favourable weather conditions and the public will be kept informed of any change.

Up to date information on all traffic matters can be accessed at Trafficwatchni.
