    Date published: 29 August 2018

Two major resurfacing schemes will commence in Aughnacloy on 3 September.

    Lane closure during resurfacing work

Moore Street and Sydney Street in Aughnacloy will both benefit from a £100,000 investment which will greatly improve the strength and surface quality of these sections of the road network and address ongoing maintenance issues.

To facilitate the work a road closure will be in operation on Moore Street from 8.00 am to 6.00 pm, Monday to Friday, from 3 September until 11 September. Sydney Street will then be closed to traffic between the hours of 8.00 am and 6.00 pm from the 17 September until the 21 September.

During the road closures through traffic will be diverted and advance warning signage will be provided. Some delays can be expected and road users should allow additional time when planning any journeys. Local access will be accommodated.

The Department apologises for any inconvenience caused and asks that motorists use the diversion routes as signed and drive with due care and attention.

The above planned closures are subject to favourable weather conditions and the public will be kept informed of any change.

Up to date information on all traffic matters can be accessed through the Trafficwatch website at www.trafficwatchni.com
