A4 Henry Street Enniskillen will benefit from a £100,000 road improvement scheme. The improvement works will include resurfacing a 180m stretch of road from its junction with the A4 Anne Street to approximately 50m south of its junction with Old Henry Street, improving the strength and surface quality of this section of the road network.

Traffic movement during resurfacing work

Work on the scheme will be carried out on Sunday 26 January and Sunday 9 February, however this will require a full road closure on Sunday 26 January between 8.00 am to 8.00 pm and on Sunday 9 February between 8.00 am and 11.00 pm.

Advanced warning and diversion signage will be in place. North/Eastbound traffic will be diverted from A4 Sligo Road via Ashwoods Road, Derrygonnelly Road, A46 Lough Shore Road.  South/Westbound traffic will be diverted from Wellington Road via A4 Castle Street, A4 Anne Street, A46 Loughshore Road, Derrygonnelly Road, Ashwoods Road and A4 Sligo Road.

Local access for residents and businesses will be maintained although road users may experience some delays and are advised to leave additional time when travelling in the area. We are grateful for the patience of road users while we complete this work.

Access for emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times.

The dates and duration of the works will be dependent on the progress of the scheme and on favourable weather conditions.
