Consultation description
This consultation seeks your views on the development of policy relating to the future regulation and use of SuDS in new housing developments in Northern Ireland.
It also aims to explain the main considerations, as well as gathering essential information and opinions on key policy areas, potential implementation challenges, and opportunities to promote the wider uptake of SuDS.
We encourage all interested parties, including residents, businesses, local authorities and industry experts, to share their views to help shape modern robust and forward-thinking SuDS policy. The consultation will be available for comment from 22 September 2025 until 19 December 2025
