In September 2025, the Department issued a public consultation on the introduction of Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) in new housing developments. The consultation closed on 19 December 2025.
A total of 46 responses were received, the majority of which were supportive of the proposals. The responses and key themes raised have been analysed and are summarised in the Consultation Report.
