The Department for Infrastructure (DfI) proposes to make an Order entitled The Parking and Waiting Restrictions (Ballymoney) Order (Northern Ireland) 2026.

Consultation description
The Order will-
• authorise lengths of High Street and Main Street, Ballymoney for the use as parking places and prescribe the conditions under which they may be used. Between 8.30 a.m. and 6.00 p.m. Monday to Saturday inclusive, parking will be limited to 1 hour with return to the parking place prohibited until 1 hour has expired.
• prohibit waiting at any time (loading and unloading permitted) on lengths of High Street and Townhead Street.
• prohibit waiting on Monday to Saturday between 8.30 a.m. and 6.00 p.m. (loading and unloading permitted) on lengths of High Street and a length of Townhead Street.
• revoke and re-enact certain other parking places and waiting restrictions in Ballymoney.
Vehicles are excepted from the conditions and prohibitions in certain circumstances.

Making an objection
Any person may object or make other representations, specifying the grounds on which they are made, by writing to the Department at the address above or by emailing Traffic.Coleraine@infrastructure-ni.gov.uk within a period of 22 days from the date of publication of this Notice.
