    Consultation description

    The Order will introduce a loading bay for the use of all vehicles loading and unloading certain goods on a length of:

    • Commercial Road, Banbridge during the hours between 8.30 am and 6.15 pm on Monday to Saturday inclusive;
    • Irish Green Street, Limavady during the hours between 8.30 am and 6.00 pm on Monday to Saturday inclusive;
    • Cedar Street, Derry/Londonderry during the hours between 8.00 am and 6.00 pm on Monday to Saturday inclusive;
    • Harmony Street, Belfast and Foyle Embankment, Derry/Londonderry and Downpatrick Street, Saintfield to operate at any time on all days; and
    • Main Street, Markethill during the hours between 8.30am and 6.15 pm on Monday to Saturday inclusive.

    Vehicles are excepted from the prohibitions in certain circumstances.

    The Order will also relocate a loading bay for the use of goods vehicles on a length of John Mitchel Place, Newry. This length of road is presently contained within a parking place designated under Article 5 of, and Schedule 1 to the On-Street Parking Order (Northern Ireland) 2000. This Order will amend the On-Street Parking Order by redefining the designated parking place in question to exclude this length of the road.

    The Order also revokes and re-enacts an existing loading bay in Main Street, Limavady.

    The Order will also correct a drafting error relating to a loading bay in John Street, Ballymoney.
