WAITING RESTRICTIONS – PORTSTEWART
The Department for Infrastructure (DfI) has made a Statutory Rule entitled “The Waiting Restrictions (Portstewart) (Amendment) Order (Northern Ireland) 2025” (S.R. 2025 No. 182) which comes into operation on 15 December 2025.
The Rule will extend the length of an existing no waiting at any time restriction (loading and unloading permitted) on Strand Road, Portstewart. Vehicles are excepted from the restriction certain circumstances. It will also amend the definitions of postal packet and universal service provider in The Waiting Restrictions (Portstewart) Order (Northern Ireland) 2017.
A copy of the Rule may be viewed at DfI offices during office hours (Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 5.00 pm) by appointment only.
