The Strategic Plan will provide an agreed framework within which local authorities in Northern Ireland may draw up their own projects and seek funding (including European funding), to develop a more informed and systematic way to consider the competing priorities of green infrastructure planning on the ground and the implementation of sensible, sustainable routes across the region.
