The Department for Infrastructure has made a Statutory Rule entitled “The Schools (Part-Time 20mph Speed Limit) (Amendment No. 2) Order (Northern Ireland) 2024” (S.R. 2024 No. 195) which comes into operation on 16 December 2024.
The Order will introduce a part-time speed limit of 20 miles per hour on a length of Altamuskin Road, Sixmilecross adjacent to St. Brigid’s Primary School and revokes a part-time 20 miles per hour speed limit on a length of Gillygooley Road, Omagh adjacent to Gillygooley Primary School.
A copy of the Rule may be viewed at DfI offices during office hours (Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 5.00 pm) by appointment only. Appointments can be arranged either by email to transportlegislationbranch@infrastructure-ni.gov.uk or by telephone on 0300 200 7899.
