Review of cable cover cross-pavement solution

Following the introduction of two cross-pavement EV charging solutions in Northern Ireland in September 2025, the Department's first six-month review found that temporary cable covers provide a safe, affordable and effective home-charging option for households without driveways, with high user satisfaction and no reported safety issues to date.
