The Penalty Charges (Prescribed Devices) (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2025

The Department for Infrastructure (DfI) has made a Statutory Rule entitled “The Penalty Charges (Prescribed Devices) (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2025”, (S.R. 2025 No. 138), which comes into operation on 30th July 2025.
The Rule will amend the Penalty Charges (Prescribed Devices) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2014 by allowing for the recognition in Northern Ireland of Vehicle Certification Approval certificates granted in England and Wales. A copy of the Rule may be viewed at DfI offices during office hours (Monday to Friday 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.) by appointment only.
