The Department for Infrastructure has made a Statutory Rule entitled “The Parking Places (Disabled Persons’ Vehicles) (Amendment) Order (Northern Ireland) 2022”, (S.R. 2022 No. 19) which comes into operation on 21st Februrary 2022.
The Rule will create parking places with unlimited waiting at Belfast, Coshquin, Downpatrick, Holywood and Londonderry and also remove parking places with unlimited waiting at Belfast and Londonderry.
During the current Covid-19 restrictions, a copy of the Rule may be viewed at DfI offices during office hours (Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 5.00 pm) by appointment only. Appointments can be arranged by telephoning 0300 200 7899.
