    The Department for Infrastructure has made a Statutory Rule entitled “The Parking Places (Disabled Persons’ Vehicles) (Amendment No. 4) Order (Northern Ireland) 2025”, (S.R. 2025 No. 146) which comes into operation on 8th October 2025

    The Rule will create parking places with unlimited waiting in Aughnacloy, Carrickfergus, Cookstown, Derry/Londonderry and Downpatrick and remove a parking place with unlimited waiting in Strangford. The Rule will also create parking places with waiting limited in Derry/Londonderry.
    A copy of the Rule may be viewed at DfI offices during office hours (Monday to Friday 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.) by appointment only. Appointments can be arranged by telephoning 0300 200 7899. The Rule may also be viewed online at http://www.legislation.gov.uk/nisr
