The Department for Infrastructure has made a Statutory Rule entitled “The Parking Places (Disabled Persons’ Vehicles) (Amendment No. 3) Order (Northern Ireland) 2022”, (S.R. 2022 No. 246) which comes into operation on 2 November 2022.
The Rule will create parking places with unlimited waiting at Ballymena, Belfast, Carrickfergus, Dundonald, Londonderry and Newtownards also remove parking places with unlimited waiting at Belfast, Carrickfergus, Greyabbey and Londonderry and amend the descriptions of 3 existing parking places in Londonderry.
