Parking Places – Disabled Persons' Vehicles

The Department for Infrastructure has made a Statutory Rule entitled “Parking Places (Disabled Persons’ Vehicles) (Amendment No. 3) Order 2026”, (S.R. 2026 No. 158) which comes into operation on 8 October 2026.
The Rule will create parking places with unlimited waiting in Antrim, Ardglass, Ballynahinch, Carnlough, Castlewellan, Derry/Londonderry, Doagh, Downpatrick, Islandmagee, Larne, Magherafelt and Newtownabbey, remove parking places with unlimited waiting in Derry/Londonderry and also substitute new descriptions for lengths of road in Magherafelt.
All parking places are for the use of disabled persons’ vehicles only.
