The Parking and Waiting Restrictions (Belfast) (Amendment) Order (NI) 2025

The Department for Infrastructure (DfI) has made a Statutory Rule entitled “The Parking and Waiting Restrictions (Belfast) (Amendment) Order (Northern Ireland) 2025” (S.R. 2025 No.15) which comes into operation on 26 February 2025.
The Rule will authorise lengths of Upper Newtownards Road, Belfast for use as parking places and prescribe the conditions under which they may be used. Between 8.00 a.m. and 6.00 p.m. Monday to Saturday inclusive, parking will be limited to 1 hour with return to a parking place prohibited for 1 hour. Vehicles are excepted from the prohibition in certain circumstances.
A copy of the Rule may be viewed at DfI offices during office hours (Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 5.00 pm) by appointment only. Appointments can be arranged either by email to traffic.eastern@infrastructure-ni.gov.uk or by telephone on 0300 200 7899. The Rule may also be viewed online at:
