The main purpose of this SEA Statement is to provide information on the decision-making process for the Plan in order to illustrate how decisions were taken and used to make the development process more transparent.
In doing so, the SEA Statement documents how the recommendations of both the Environmental Report and the HRA, as well as the views of the statutory consultees and other submissions received during consultation, have influenced the preparation of the Plan. It further provides information on the arrangements put in place for monitoring the implementation of the Plan following its finalisation.
