DVA Enforcement Officers utilising Dash Cameras in Enforcement Vehicles.

DVA are introducing dash cameras into enforcement vehicles as a measure to provide greater quality of evidence to support an investigation into road traffic accidents/incidents that enforcement officers may be involved in as well as those they may witness. On occasion road traffic accidents may be challenged by drivers concerning who is at fault. Often in these situations factual evidence of what happened is confined to one person’s word against another. Therefore, the use of vehicle dash cams would provide greater reassurance in proving who was at fault for the road traffic accidents/incidents.
