The Control of Traffic (Glengall Street, Belfast) Order (Northern Ireland) 2025

The Department for Infrastructure (DfI) has made a Statutory Rule entitled “The Control of Traffic (Glengall Street, Belfast) Order (Northern Ireland) 2025”, (S.R. 202 No. 131), which comes into operation on 1st August 2025.
The Rule will prohibit vehicles waiting at any time (loading and unloading permitted) on two lengths of the north side of Glengall Street and introduce two loading bays for the use of all vehicles loading and unloading certain goods.
The Rule will also revoke the existing taxi stand and four lengths of no waiting at any time (loading and unloading not permitted) restrictions.
Vehicles are excepted from the restrictions in certain circumstances.
