Belfast Tidal FAS – Deployment Exercise September 2026.

This document provides information on a training exercise scheduled for the week commencing 14 September 2026, led by the Department for Infrastructure Rivers Operations team. As part of the exercise, DfI Rivers has selected sections of the temporary flood defences at Harbour Estate, Sydenham, and Ravenhill along the Belfast Tidal Flood Alleviation Scheme (BFTAS) for deployment. The purpose of the exercise is to familiarise staff with the equipment and to practise emergency flood response procedures.
