Authorisation of Temporary Use of the M22 Motorway by Excluded Vehicles

The Department for Infrastructure has made an authorisation in exercise of the powers conferred by Regulation 13(2) of the Motorways Traffic Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2008.
The following classes of vehicles as specified in Schedule 1 of the Roads (Northern Ireland) Order 1993:
- Class I vehicles which meet the specifications and satisfy conditions (i), (ii), (iii) and (v) set out in paragraph 1 of Schedule 1 to the Order;
- Class II vehicles; and
- Class X vehicles
are permitted to use the eastbound carriageway of the M22 motorway between junction 3 at the intersection with Moneynick Road, Route A6, Randalstown and the end of the eastbound off slip road to junction 2 at Ballygrooby Roundabout, Randalstown from 1 July 2018 to midnight on 2 September 2018 inclusive.
