A £232,000 scheme to reduce flooding to residential properties at Dernmore Lane, Clonoe, Coalisland is due to commence on 10 January 2018.

    Traffic movement during resurfacing work

The scheme will reduce the risk of flooding to eight residential properties in the Dernmore Drive development in Clonoe, which have flooded in the past.

The scheme consists of the placement of approximately 125 metres of sheet pile flood wall with associated works including a concrete capping beam. It is also intended to raise and realign a section of the Dernmore lane adjacent to the site. Work is expected to be completed by summer 2018.
