    Date published: 20 November 2023

A resurfacing scheme for the B80 Tattymoyle Road, between Eshmore Road and Rahony Road, is due to commence on Monday 27 November 2023.

The work will strengthen the carriageway along this stretch of the Tattymoyle Road.

To help ensure the safety of those using the road and to facilitate the works it will be necessary to operate a full road closure from 9.00 am on Monday 27 November to 5.00 pm on Tuesday 28 November and daily thereafter from 9:00 am to 5.00 pm on Wednesday 29 November through to Friday 1 December.

During the closure a diversion will be in place via: B107 Clabby Road, A4 Edfield Way Fivemiletown, B122 Murley Road, B122 Ecclesville Road, and vice versa

The Department has carefully planned these road works and associated traffic management arrangements in order to minimize inconvenience to the public. Road users are advised to allow extra time for their journey and to follow the alternative routes which will be clearly signed on the approaches to the closure. Local access for residents and emergency services will be maintained at all times.

Completion of the work by Friday 1 December 2023 is subject to favorable weather conditions, however, the Department will keep the public informed of any change. All work will be carried out in line with current public health and health and safety advice, with safe systems of working in place for staff and contractors.
