Hillhall Park, Lisburn will benefit from a £80,000 footway reconstruction scheme which is due to commence on Monday 24 February 2020.

    Raking whilst resurfacing a footway

This first phase of improvement work in Hillhall Park stretches between Hillhall Gardens and Meeting House Lane and should be fully completed within eight weeks.

To facilitate the works it will be necessary to implement a series of daily lane closures from 8.00 am to 6.00 pm, Monday to Friday. Access for residents will be maintained.

Whilst the Department has carefully planned these road works and associated traffic management arrangements in order to minimise any inconvenience to the public, some delays can be expected.

To help ensure the safety of road users and road workers the public is asked to comply with all temporary traffic restrictions and to exercise care when travelling through, or in the vicinity of, the works.

Completion of the scheme within eight weeks will be subject to favourable weather conditions, however, the Department will keep the public informed of any change.
