Infrastructure Minister John O’Dowd has welcomed Unions’ acceptance of the NI Water pay award.

Speaking after meeting with Unite the Union and GMB representatives, the Minister said:
“My approval of the pay award for NI Water rightly recognised the essential public service provided by frontline staff. I was pleased to have the opportunity to discuss this with union representatives today, and to hear that they have accepted the 23/24 pay award.
“Resolution of this matter means that there will be no disruption to water supply and wastewater services for homes and business throughout the North.”
