    Summary

    Notice is hereby given under Article 65 of the Roads (Northern Ireland) Order 1993 the Department proposes to construct a total of 13 No pairs of speed cushions. The speed control features will be constructed in accordance with the Road Hump Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1999.

    Consultation description

    The speed cushion control features will be placed in each lane of the carriageway with a height of no more than 75mm above the existing road surface. Speed cushions shall be placed on Church Street and Kilbroney Road at approximately:-

    1. 50m North of its junction with Cherry Hill Road
    2. 140m North of its junction with Cherry Hill Road
    3. 245m North of its junction with Cherry Hill Road
    4. 370m North of its junction with Cherry Hill Road
    5. 470m North of its junction with Cherry Hill Road
    6. 590m North of its junction with Cherry Hill Road
    7. 705m North of its junction with Cherry Hill Road
    8. 800m North of its junction with Cherry Hill Road
    9. 908m North of its junction with Cherry Hill Road
    10. 1065m North of its junction with Cherry Hill Road
    11. 1170m North of its junction with Cherry Hill Road
    12. 1260m North of its junction with Cherry Hill Road
    13. 1365m North of its junction with Cherry Hill Road

    A map showing the proposed scheme may be inspected free of charge during office hours at Marlborough House, Craigavon.

    During the current Covid-19 emergency, access to this building is limited and inspection of the map is by appointment only, which can be arranged either by e-mail using the e-mail address above or by telephone during office hours (Mon to Fri 9.00 am to 5.00 pm) on 0300 200 7899.
