    Summary

    STOPPING-UP – ST ANDREWS SQUARE WEST, BELFAST
    The Department for Infrastructure (DfI), being of the opinion that another road is available which provides alternative facilities for vehicular traffic, gives notice of its intention to make an Order under Article 68 of the Roads (Northern Ireland) Order 1993. The effect of the Order would be to stop-up a length of St Andrews Square West, Belfast at a line 32 metres south of St Andrews Square North for a distance of 10.35 metres in an easterly direction.

    Consultation description

    The length of road to be stopped-up is delineated on a map which, together with a copy of a draft Order, may be inspected free of charge during office hours within the period 5 November 2025 to 15 December 2025 at DfI TRAM Eastern Division, Hydebank House, 4a Hospital Road, Ballydollaghan, Belfast, BT8 8JL or viewed online at www.infrastructure-ni.gov.uk/consultations

    Inspecting the proposal
    Inspection of the draft Order and map is by appointment only which can be arranged either by email using the email address below or by telephone during office hours (Monday to Friday 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.) on 0300 200 7899.

    Making an objection
    Any person may, within the period above, object to the proposal by writing to the Department at the address above or by emailing lands.eastern@infrastructure-ni.gov.uk stating the grounds of the objection.
