    The Department for Infrastructure (DfI) proposes to make an Order entitled the Prohibition of Waiting (Schools) (Amendment) Order (Northern Ireland) 2022.

    Consultation description

    The Order will prohibit vehicles waiting between 8.30 am to 9.15 am and 1.00 pm to 4.00 pm, Monday to Friday inclusive between 31 August and 30 June on a length of Maritime Drive, Carrickfergus at Carrickfergus Model Primary School. Vehicles are excepted from the prohibition in certain circumstances.

    Inspecting the proposals

    Full details are contained in the draft Order which, together with a map showing the road involved may be inspected free of charge during office hours within the period below at the Department’s DfI Roads Northern Division, Traffic Management Section, County Hall, 182 Galgorm Road, Ballymena, BT42 1QG.

    Inspection of the draft Order and map is by appointment only which can be arranged either by e-mail using the office e-mail address below or by telephone during office hours (Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 5.00 pm) on 0300 200 7899.

    Making an objection

    Any person may object or make other representations, specifying the grounds on which they are made, by writing to the Department at the address above or by emailing dfiroads.northern@infrastructure-ni.gov.uk within the period stated above.
