The effect of which would be to abandon an area of 5020 square metres of the U8133 (unnamed road) off Friary Road, Newtownhamilton commencing at its junction with the U8132 (unnamed road) and extending for a distance of 704 metres in a north-easterly direction, after completion of such works as the Department considers necessary to provide alternative facilities.

Inspecting the proposals

The area of road proposed to be abandoned is delineated on a map which, together with a copy of a draft Order, may be inspected free of charge during office hours within the period 27 September 2022 to 9 November 2022 at DfI Roads Southern Division, Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon (West) Section Office, 17 Ballyhonemore Road, Armagh, BT60 1JD. 

Inspection of the draft Order and map is by appointment only which can only be arranged either by e-mail using the e-mail address below or by telephone during office hours (Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 5.00 pm) on 0300 200 7899.

Making an objection

Any person may, within the period above, object to the proposal by writing to the Department at the address above or by e-mailing southernlandsteam@infrastructure-ni.gov.uk stating the grounds of the objection.
