Proposed Traffic Calming Scheme - B72 Manoo Road, Letterboy, Ederney

Notice is hereby given that under Article 65 of the Roads (NI) Order 1993, the Department proposes to introduce calming measures on route B72 Manoo Road, Letterboy, Ederney, Co Fermanagh.

Consultation description

The Rumble Strips will be laid in accordance with the Road Humps Regulations (NI) 1999, other features will be constructed in accordance with the Traffic Calming Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1995.

The scheme will consist of 4 No. sets of red thermoplastic rumble strips laid across the full road width, approximately 150mm wide at 600mm spacing, applied as follows -

  1. Manoo Road, Route B72 from a point 77 metres south of its junction with Letterboy Road, Route B4, for a distance of 9 metres in a southerly direction.
  2. Manoo Road, Route B72 from a point 95 metres south of its junction with Letterboy Road, Route B4, for a distance of 9 metres in a southerly direction.
  3. Manoo Road, Route B72 from a point 312 metres south of its junction with Aghagrefin Road, Unclassified No. 9297, for a distance of 9 metres in a southerly direction.
  4. Manoo Road, Route B72 from a point 332 metres south of its junction with Aghagrefin Road, Unclassified No. 9297, for a distance of 9 metres in a southerly direction.

Making an objection
