Summary

The Department for Infrastructure (DfI) proposes to make an Order entitled The Parking and Waiting Restrictions (Limavady) Order (Northern Ireland) 2024.

Consultation description

The Order will authorise lengths of Irish Green Street, Limavady for use as parking places and prescribe the conditions under which they may be used. Between the hours of 8.30 am and 6.00 pm on the days Monday to Saturday inclusive parking will be limited to 1 hour with return to a parking place prohibited until 1 hour has expired. Vehicles are excepted from the restriction in certain circumstances.

The Order will also update the definitions of “postal packet” and “universal service provider”.

The Order also revokes and re-enacts existing parking and waiting restrictions in Limavady.
