    The Department for Infrastructure (DfI) proposes to make an Order entitled The Parking Places (Disabled Persons’ Vehicles) (Amendment No. 6) Order (Northern Ireland) 2025.

    Consultation description

    The Order will create parking places with unlimited waiting in Belfast: Posnett Court in front of No. 8 (Re-advertisement) and Stranmillis Gardens in front of No. 46 (Re-advertisement); Derry/Londonderry: Lower Bennett Street in front of No. 28; Downpatrick: John Street in front of No. 85; Newtownards: Manor Court in a parking area opposite Manor Court Community Centre; Warrenpoint: Ardallan Park in front of No. 17.
    The Order will also create a parking place with waiting limited to 2 hours on Monday to Friday between 9.30 a.m. and 6.00 p.m. with no return to the parking place for 1 hour in Belfast: Springfield Road in front of Nos. 7-9 (Crilly’s Chemist).
    All parking places are for the use of disabled persons’ vehicles only.
    The Order will also remove a parking place with unlimited waiting in Derry/Londonderry: Claremont Street in front of No. 1.

    Inspection of the draft Order is by appointment only which can be arranged either by e-mail using the relevant office e-mail address above or by telephone during office hours (Mon to Fri 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.) on 0300 200 7899.
