Consultation description
The Order will create parking places with unlimited waiting in Armagh: The Mall East opposite No. 1 Charlemont Gardens; Bangor: Craigboy Mews to the rear of No. 28 Craigboy Park; Banbridge: Mountview Park in a parking area to the rear of No. 9; Belfast: Edenvale Crescent in front of No. 27 (Re-advertisement), Fairhill Walk in front of No. 54 (Re-advertisement), Knock Link in front of No. 9 (Re-advertisement) and Lothair Avenue in front of No. 30 (Re-advertisement); Bessbrook: The Gardens in front of Nos. 28/30; Carrickfergus: Shaftesbury Cross in front of No. 16; Cookstown: Greenvale Drive in a parking area to the rear of No. 69); Crossmaglen: The Crescent in front of No. 11; Derry/Londonderry: Claremont Street in front No. 3, Clonmakane Court in a parking area to the rear of No. 20, Marlborough Street in front of No. 9, Rosemount Cottages in a lay-by in front of Nos. 1/2 and Spencer Road in front of Nos. 123/125 (Woven Housing Association); Dromore, County Down: Gallows Street in front of No. 94 and Green Dyke Walk in a parking area to the rear of No. 33 Hawthorn Walk; Dromore, County Tyrone: Fairview Gardens in a parking area to the side of No. 13; Forkhill: Main Street in front of No. 39;
Hilltown: Rostrevor Road in front of Nos. 1/3; Lisbellaw: Circular Road in front of the Public Toilets; Maghera: King William III Crescent in a parking area to the rear of No. 8; Millisle: Ballymacruise Drive in a lay-by to the side of No. 31; Newry: Barcroft Park in front of No. 129, Cathedral View in a parking area in front of No. 4 and to the rear of No. 30 High Street (2 bays), Church Street in front of No. 59, Drumgullion Avenue in a parking area in front of No. 79, Hennessy Park in a lay-by in front of No. 34, John F Kennedy Park to the side of No. 83, John Martin Gardens in front of Nos. 7 and 37 (2 bays), St. Clare’s Avenue in front of No. 14 and Second Avenue in a parking area to the side of No. 47; Newtownards: East Street in front of No. 154; Portaferry: Shore Road in front of No. 72; Strabane: Fountain Park in front of No. 20 and Mourne Avenue in front of No. 1.
The Order will also create parking places with waiting limited to 3 hours on Monday to Saturday between 8.00 a.m. and 6.30 p.m. with no return to the parking place for 1 hour in Derry/Londonderry: Carlisle Road in front of Nos. 2-6 (One Luxury Footwear) and Nos. 12/14 (Hair Superstore/Salon Fourteen).
All parking places are for the use of disabled persons’ vehicles only.
The Order will also remove parking places with unlimited waiting in Derry/Londonderry: Fountain Street in front of No. 10 and amend the conditions of an existing parking place in Carlisle Road in front of Nos. 2-6.
