    PARKING PLACES – DISABLED PERSONS’ VEHICLES
    The Department for Infrastructure (DfI) proposes to make an Order entitled The Parking Places (Disabled Persons’ Vehicles) (Amendment No. 4) Order (Northern Ireland) 2025.

    Consultation description

    The Order will create parking places with unlimited waiting in Aughnacloy: Hillcrest in a parking area in front of No. 20; Carrickfergus: Burleigh Walk in a parking area to the side of No. 10;
    Cookstown: Orritor Street in front of No. 28; Dery/Londonderry: Bards Hill in a parking area to the rear of No. 30 and St Columbs Wells in a parking area to the rear of No. 4; and Downpatrick: St. Dillons Avenue in front of No. 29.
    The Order will also create parking places with waiting limited to 3 hours on Monday to Saturday between 8.00 a.m. and 6.30 p.m. with no return to the parking place for 1 hour in Derry/Londonderry: The Diamond in front of No. 14 (AXA Insurance) and No. 16 (Whispers Hair Salon).
    All parking places are for the use of disabled persons’ vehicles only.
    The Order will also remove parking places with unlimited waiting in Strangford: Downpatrick Road to the side of No. 4.
