The Parking Places (Disabled Persons’ Vehicles) (Amendment No. 7) Order (Northern Ireland) 2021

The Department for Infrastructure (DfI) proposes to make an Order entitled The Parking Places (Disabled Persons’ Vehicles) (Amendment No. 7) Order (Northern Ireland) 2021.


Consultation description

The Order will create parking places with unlimited waiting at:

  • Ballygawley: Church Street in front of No. 4;
  • Belfast: Cregagh Street in front of No. 205 and Tullyard Way in front of No. 43;
  • Carrickfergus: Model Avenue in front of No. 9;
  • Enniskillen: Drumgallon Court in front of No. 14;
  • Londonderry: Seymour Gardens, Caw to the side of No. 29;
  • Omagh: McIvor Villas in a parking area opposite the side of No. 15;
  • Strabane: Ballycolman Estate to the side of No. 17;
  • Whitehead: Ransevyn Park in front of No. 64.

The Order will also create a parking place with waiting limited to 2 hours Monday to Friday between 8.00 am and 6.00 pm with no return to that parking place for 1 hour at Belfast: Henry Place to the side of No. 15-17 (Clifton Street Surgery).

All parking places are for the use of disabled persons’ vehicles only.

During the current Covid-19 emergency, access to these buildings is limited and inspection of the draft Order is by appointment only which can be arranged either by e-mail using the relevant office e-mail address above or by telephone during office hours (Mon to Fri 9.00 am to 5.00 pm) on 0300 200 7899.
