The Department for Infrastructure (DfI) proposes to make an Order entitled The Parking Places (Disabled Persons’ Vehicles) (Amendment No. 2) Order (Northern Ireland) 2026.

Consultation description
The Order will create parking places with unlimited waiting in
- Ardstraw: Abbey Villas to the side of No. 5;
- Derry/Londonderry: Baldrick Crescent in front of No. 12, Ederowen Park in front of No. 62, Marlborough Street in front of No. 63 and Lisfannon Park in a parking area in front of No. 65;
- Holywood: Old Holywood Road in a lay-by in front of No. 427 and Strand Avenue in front of No. 39;
- Newtownards: Lenamore Park in a parking area adjacent to No. 12 and Ravara Close in front of No. 1; and
- Portaferry: Steel Dickson Gardens in a lay-by in front of No. 14.
All parking places are for the use of disabled persons’ vehicles only.
