The Department for Infrastructure (DfI) proposes to make an Order entitled The Parking and Waiting Restrictions (Strabane) (Amendment) Order (Northern Ireland) 2019.

Consultation description

The Order will:

  • authorise a length of Park Road, Strabane for use as a parking place. Between 8.00 am and 7.00 pm Monday to Saturday inclusive parking will be limited to 1 hour and no return within 1 hour;
  • prohibit vehicles waiting ‘at any time’ (loading and unloading permitted) on lengths of Melvin Road and Park Road, Strabane; and
  • prohibit vehicles waiting Monday to Friday between 8.00 am and 5.30 pm (loading and unloading permitted) on a length of Park Road, Strabane.

Vehicles are excepted from the prohibitions in certain circumstances.

Making an objection

Any person may object or make other representations, specifying the grounds on which they are made, by writing to the Department at the address above or by emailing trafficwestern@infrastructure-ni.gov.uk within a period of 22 days from the date of publication of this Notice.
