    Summary

    Notice is hereby given that under Article 65 of the Roads (NI) Order 1993, the Department proposes to introduce speed cushions and other traffic calming works at Larchfield Gardens, Kilrea, Co. Londonderry to control the speed of traffic.

    Consultation description

    The speed cushions will be constructed in accordance with The Road Humps Regulations (NI) 1999, other features will be constructed in accordance with the Traffic Calming Regulations (NI) 1995.

    All road markings and signing will be in accordance with the Traffic Signs Regulations (NI) 1997.

    The scheme will consist of the following measures:

    • One set of speed cushions 2.0 metres long x 2.0 metres wide located on Larchfield Gardens north of the junctions with Oakfield Place.

    Inspecting the proposal

    A map showing the road humps and other traffic calming works may be inspected free of charge during office hours at the office below.

    Making an objection

    Objections or other representations may be made within a period of 31 days from the publication of this notice to:
