    Summary

    The Department for Infrastructure (DfI) has made The Experimental Traffic Control Scheme – Waiting Restrictions – Bedford Street, Belfast, for a period of 6 months, which will come into operation on 3rd March 2025.
    The scheme will prohibit vehicles from waiting at any time (loading and unloading not permitted) on lengths of Bedford Street, Belfast. The Department will consider in due course whether the provisions of the scheme should continue indefinitely.

    Inspecting the proposal

    Details of the scheme can be viewed online at www.infrastructure-ni.gov.uk/consultations
    Within a period of 6 months from 3rd March 2025, any person may object to the making of a traffic regulation order for the purpose of continuing the provisions of the scheme in force indefinitely.

    Making an objection 

    Any such objection or other representation must be made in writing to the Department at DfI TRAM Eastern Division, Traffic Management, Hydebank House, 4a Hospital Road, Ballydollaghan, Belfast, BT8 8JL or by emailing traffic.eastern@infrastructure-ni.gov.uk stating the grounds of objection.
