    EXPERIMENTAL TRAFFIC CONTROL SCHEME – HILL STREET AND
    GORDON STREET, BELFAST
    The Department for Infrastructure (DfI) proposes to make the Experimental Traffic
    Control Scheme – Hill Street and Gordon Street, Belfast for a period of 6 months.

    Consultation description

    The scheme will –
     prohibit all vehicles from using Hill Street, Belfast for a distance of 120
    metres from its junction with Gordon Street to its junction with Waring Street.
    Vehicles are excepted from this prohibition in certain circumstances, including to
    permit loading and unloading of goods between 6.00 am and 12.00 noon to premises
    along the affected length of road.
    The Order also -
    introduces a one-way system on Gordon Street, Belfast, from its junction with
    Hill Street to Dunbar Street in an easterly direction.

    Inspecting the proposal
    Full details are contained in the draft scheme, which together with a map showing the
    roads involved, may be inspected free of charge during office hours within the period
    below at DfI Roads Eastern Division, Networks Maintenance (East), 1st Floor
    Hydebank House, 4a Hospital Road, Ballydollaghan, Belfast, BT8 8JL. Details may
    also be viewed online at www.infrastructure-ni.gov.uk/consultations
    Inspection of the draft scheme and map is by appointment only which can be arranged
    either by email using traffic.eastern@infrastructure-ni.gov.uk or by telephone during
    office hours (Monday to Friday 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.) on 0300 200 7899.

    they are made, by writing to the Department at the address above or by emailing
    traffic.eastern@infrastructure-ni.gov.uk within the stated period.
