Consultation description
Further information on the proposals will be published on this page once the consultation opens on 16 November 2026.
The Black Paths Active Travel Signature Scheme will extend and upgrade the existing Black Paths network to create a continuous walking, wheeling and cycling link between Portadown and Lurgan Train Stations via Craigavon, approximately 10km in length.
The scheme will improve connectivity across the existing Black Paths network, creating stronger links between communities, key destinations, public transport hubs, employment areas and local services, by delivering an attractive, direct and safe route for all active travel users.
We want to hear your views to understand local issues and opportunities from within the study area.
